Honolulu vegan blues

Two months after moving from the Bay area to Honolulu, I'm still suffering vegan withdrawal. I've started this blog in search of commiseration and, more importantly, to connect with others who can point me to the hidden vegan treasures of this island. Once overwhelmed with options, I must now develop a selective repertoire of reliable vegan delights from the world outside my kitchen. I have already discovered a few: the buffalo 'chicken' sandwich  and brownie sundae at downbeat diner; the papas burrito at verde (hold the cheese and ranch, add the corn salsa and cilantro sauce); the mochi bars at peace cafe; and the tofu musubi from kokua market. I look forward to your insights and suggestions, and am traveling to Seattle this weekend, where I will be trying to figure out how to fit as much vegan food into only a few free hours, recommendations desired.
